This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Walgreens for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.
I decided to accept this post because I have personally taken advantage of Walgreens Prescription Savings Club. I 'm not sure how insurance and all that jazz works, but I do know depending on the brand, your co-pay might not be just $10. AND...it doesn't always HAVE to be the $10 either! Which no one else decided to tell me! I learned this when I went into Walgreens last week to get the Monsters Medicine...I assumed it was the same no matter what...I was dead. Wrong!! So, with the healthcare changes and whatnot, apparently, this was one of them? Who knows?!?! All I know is after we signed up for the Prescription Savings Club, the majority of our prescriptions haven't even been the $10 co-pay. They have been much less! Awesomeness! So, other than getting discount prices on our prescriptions, we also receive these other benefits;
-Savings on more than 8,000 brand-name and all generic medications.
-Discounts on all flu shots, pet prescriptions, nebulizers, diabetic supplies
-Bonuses when you purchase Walgreens brand products and photofinishing services.
Luckily, we don't need the diabetic supplies, but if Grandma was still here, I'd sign her up because that alone is worth the $35 bucks. Actually for her it would have been only $20. For our entire family (and yours including a spouse, dependents 22 and younger, and pets) it's $35 a year. If you just want to get it for yourself, it's $20.
If you want to get more information on the Prescription Savings Club, visit Prescription Savings Club at Walgreens. And you can show your support for Walgreens and stay updated by liking Walgreens on Facebook and following Walgreens on Twitter!
Hope this helps you save a little bit of $$ So you can use it for all of your DIY projects you've been dying to start!
